Look no further--at Emmanuel we have a wide variety of fellowship groups that help people of all ages get connected in a variety of ways through fellowship, Bible study, food, service, recreation, and fun activities. KIDS/YOUTH/YOUNG FAMILIES:
FAMILY FELLOWSHIP
We are a group of young families (with or without kids) who wish to meet on Monday evenings. One week, we meet as families (kids welcome) for a potluck meal at 5pm in the church gym. The opposite week, we will be meeting at 7pm for a Bible study (without kids), rotating houses as needed. We welcome you to join us for one or both evenings, depending on what suits your family.
MINI DISCIPLES
Grades 5-8 will meet every second and fourth Tuesday at 6:30pm for Bible studies and a variety of fun activities.
YOUTH
Grades 9-12 meet 7:00pm Wednesdays, for worship, Bible studies, games, community service projects, and other activities, plus occasional weekend events and retreats.
SENIORS:
LUNCH AT GARDEN PARK TOWER
On the first Tuesday of every month seniors meet at Garden Park Tower at 11:30am for food and fellowship.
MONDAY MALL WALK
Come gather at Seven Oaks Mall every Monday (except civic holidays) at 9:30am in the food court for a short walk followed by refreshments.
SENIORS FELLOWSHIP
Generally meets on the fourth Sunday of each month (there may be a few exceptions). Seniors gather at 5 p.m. for a potluck dinner and special feature.
ALL AGES:
CARE GROUP
We are a group of people muddling through midlife, dealing with aging parents and young adult children. We meet weekly for supper.
CHRISTIANITY & THE ARTS
We normally meet on the first Sunday of the month at 5 pm for a potluck and discussion to explore the relationship of Christianity and various forms of art: music, plays, literature, fabric arts, painting, etc. Sometimes we attend plays, musical concerts, go to The Reach or other galleries, or do other arts related things.
FAITH BUILDERS
Bible study group. Meetings include singing, prayer, fellowship and discussion on various topics and Scripture. Newcomers welcome.
KINGDOM BUILDERS
We are a Bible study group that typically meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
K-GROUP
Newcomers are welcome. We meet every second Wednesday in homes at 2pm.
OMEGA
Our group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at Manfred & Sharon Franz's home. Arny Froese leads Bible study. New participants are welcome.
SATURDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP
This group meets the third Saturday of each month at 6:30pm for potluck supper and fellowship at various locations. More are always welcome.
SHARE & CARE
We ordinarily meet on the first and third Wednesday of the month to discuss topics of various interests to the group, watch some videos or have resource people coming to share. On the fifth Wednesday of the month we have a social evening with food. We meet in our homes in the evening with the sessions beginning with a coffee time.
VCC PRAYER + GYM NIGHT
Vietnamese Christian Church meets every Thursday night at 7pm for games in the gym and prayer time in the library.
WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP BLANKET-MAKING
9am-noon every other Tuesday, beginning on October 1. Over the years, this group has completed over 3000 blankets that are being used for relief all over the world. We also share a devotional and coffee time together. New members are welcome.
WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP GROUP
The Women’s Fellowship Group meets every second Tuesday (alternating with the Blanket-making group) at 9:30 - 11:00 am in the Fireside Room. Our emphasis is on Bible Study, prayer and fellowship. From time to time we have guest speakers.
